This is our favorite BBQ place in KC.  We're about to move, but when I come back to visit and want BBQ, this is where we are coming.  

As has been said before, the Burnt End Burger is absolutely amazing.  My wife is GF, so she had the bun on the side, which I promptly absconded with to turn the pulled pork from the Judges Plate (3) into a sandwich.  

Not a huge fan of the sausage.   The ribs are amazing, and the pulled pork is out of this world.   Their house sauce that comes standard is an awesome balance of zip and sweetness.  

Plan ahead:  peak times are jammed.  Part of what makes this place great is that it has the BBQ joint feel, but you're not rushed to get out; nobody is circling with their food waiting to grab a seat.  The bar area tables are actually a little more roomy than the main room.  

Also, their pick up window is a great option if you can't get a table.  They can get your food to-go in about 20 minutes.   

Next think I'm trying is there smoked fried chicken!!

Excellent BBQ and baked beans!! The service was exceptional (plus, our server provided us out-of-towners advice for more places to visit in the area). The beers were delicious. The place was absolutely packed, so make sure to plan ahead for wait time, if with a group (but there were 2 of us and we were able to get a table right away, despite the line around the building).

Very good food.  Had the Judges plate with Ribs, brisket and sausage.  Also tasted a friends burnt ends which were amazing.  Still like Joe's ribs better, but it was all very good.  Cost was a little high, but it is a very nice place as well.  Would go back for sure.  Also had the wings, not the worlds best as advertised, but very good also.

Great space, decent menu options. They need better clarifications on the menu--my friends ordered a chicken sandwich thinking she'd get pulled BBQ chicken, and it was a fried chicken breast. Tasted ok, but not what she wanted at all. 

I had a burnt ends sandwich, which was way overpriced for the amount of meat I received. 

Good tasted decent, but they're a bit proud without bringing the goods to back it up.

Food was really good. Beans were kinda spicy but good. My favorite was the burnt ends And pulled pork. Would definitely come back. We came at around 2pm on a Sunday and it was pretty packed. I'm sure on a more prime time there would be a wait.
