After turning 30 I was done with the conventional gym and all the peacocking, I wanted something more. My first experience at Radix was Boxing with Dan, which I would highly recommend, Dan is an excellent coach, thanks to Dan I have a pretty mean punch. After several boxing lessons I noticed the cross-fit classes and was intrigued. Looking physically good was no longer a priority for me, I wanted to be strong and I wanted to connect and be around people who wanted the same thing. Not only did I get that at Radix but I also became part of a great supportive community. My first day of cross-fit the coach did a fun icebreaker to introduce me and some new members to the team, we all had a good laugh and felt welcomed. The trainers are very knowledgeable and are keen to address proper posture and technique. As for the members, they watched out for each other, always encouraging, followed by high fives, fist pumps and good laughs at the end of the session. I have been with Radix for a year and if you are looking for a place where you can push yourself, powerlift, have fun and never be concerned how wrecked you look, this is the place for you!

Out of shape at 41. Dan helped me through the highs and lows of the long process of getting back in shape and taking control of my health. Now 43 and we'll on my way to my fitness goals. Dan and his staff are easily the most professional and dedicated to what they do. If you're looking to make a change,  there is no better place in Oakville.

Excellent gym for anyone from 4 year olds to 80 year olds. I started coming here since I was 12 and now I am 15 and I can say for sure this gym is excellent for its quality machines, amazing products and the most helpful trainers and people I have ever met. This place isn't just a gym where nobody communicates and everybody just keeps their heads down. There are constant conversations between people that don't know each other or people that are doing the same workout, it really amazes me how some people connect in a gym just goes to show how great this gym is.The atmosphere of this place is also amazing it isn't very loud but there is always workout music playing, the people who come here are very nice and supportive, you will never see anyone get made fun of or bullied for their skill level, weight or anything for that matter. But the thing I like the most about that place is for sure the trainers. I usually have one trainer (Daniel the best one) but when he isn't there (which isn't often he barely misses our classes unless it is an emergency) we are greeted with the nicest trainers who aren't just there to support you but also help you do the exercises properly. This a gym for anyone that wants to improve.
