Since this was an off season visit we didn't go on the beach, but the view was great. It is one of the few hotels left to offer smoking rooms so if that is your thing then it's nice, especially when it's chilly out. If not then consider this notice that they do have them. The staff was all friendly and helpful and the room was nice. I would recommend a stay there.

I went to Ramada's restaurant/bar Mahi Mahs. I got a bloody Mary and a Rainbow sushi roll and both were fantastic. The staff was pleasant and the food was great. Beautiful view of the ocean directly from the bar. Great happy hour deals from 3-5. Would definitely recommend this establishment!

As a local real estate agent licensed in DC,MD,VA i come to VA beach a lot reason clients buying or selling commercial or residential property. We also have two offices in VA beach and Chesapeake VA. We stay here at Ramada quite a lot since i live in northern VA in order to assist a client staying for couple of days here will make it easier and not expensive. The hotel is located right by the beach front lots of restaurants and good vibe easy to commute to my office as well.

Me and my fiancé' stayed at this hotel a few times and have no complaints. We travel to VA Beach a bit much to indulge in the greatness at Captain Georges Seafood Restaurant and always stay at the Ramada. It's in a great location (on the strip/beach) nice and quiet setting and right across the street from a great breakfast spot (sunny side café I believe). The rooms are rather small but cozy as hell for a romantic getaway. Actually have a reservation to come back in a few weeks, was thinking about trying out a new hotel but decided to just stick with what I know.

Pros- Good location, Great Restaurant, Nice atmosphere, Excellent room with beautiful views, clean and comfortable. There were a lot of staff for many needs.

Cons- Gentlemen at front desk that checked us in was in such a hurry that we felt like we were annoying him. That was a bad first impression! Two days later we called the reservation number to check on a weekly rate and the female that answered was very unfriendly and made us feel like we were annoying her so I don't understand the staffs attitude-- Again these were bad impressions
