One of the better hotels I've stayed at. Great value, and friendly staff. It's on base so you can be sure it's a safe area. Right next to the beach and our room had a nice view of the lake. The Navy Lodge is almost always a good choice.

Decent hotel for military but doors are too heavy. When someone leaves it's like they are slamming the door if they don't catch it behind them, it can really get annoying throughout parts of the day and night. Early in the mornings at least 5a during the week be prepared to get woken up if u don't get up that early due to the loud back to back door slamming for at least 15-20min.

Very cozy. Serve hot coffee all day, which is great in the winter!!!
