Comfortable, clean rooms and convenient, especially if you're attending a class on Dam Neck. There are also plenty of washers and dryers which is nice. The only down side is that they seem to have systems issues. When I checked in, the lady at the front desk had to call someone else to actually check me in since the front desk systems were down. The wifi also has a tendency to randomly drop when it shouldn't, but it usually reconnects pretty quickly once you tell it to.

Be prepared for all kinds of challenging experiences, especially if you’re staying long term. Microwaves that don’t work reliablely, shower water that takes forever to heat if it heats at all, vending machines that take your money and don’t give you your product, and best of all fire alarms that go off for no reason; the response we were given when we called about it? “We can’t get anyone out there to fix it tonight. You can either pack up the room you’ve been living in for 3 months and move or just wait until tomorrow. So we covered he light with aluminum to try and get some sleep, which was difficult. It’s been almost 24 hours and still no one has been out to fix it. Stayed in a hotel in the center of DC for the same price and it was 10x better! This place is ridiculous and should be ashamed of the way they treat the people who stay here and how they price gouge the government who pays the rates.

Good customer service. Updated to ocean view room for free. Wonderful beach view and easy access to the ocean front.

Steer clear! A/C didn't work in the dog friendly room, cockroach in the room, so many holes in the curtains it looked like the stars at night. Rude front desk employees and manager who wanted us checked out by 11:00 even though our A/C was broken and the reason we had to leave. The hotels downtown we had to move to didn't let us check in till 4. We fought to stay till 1:00 because where were we supposed to go with the dogs, and they had the maid check to see if we were out at noon, and the front desk called again at 12:30. I guess they needed us out so they could give the room to someone else with the broken A/C? The maids and maintenance man were sweet but this place is a dump. I gave it one star because of the location. Ocean was a short walk across a sand dune.

Good hotel pricing for the area, but your per diem for meals will take a serious hit.
