This is a great place, they have a large selection of used parts, and you can trade your old bike in for credit.

Cool place with fixed up used bikes and new ones as well. Staff is all really nice and helpful. Selection isn't very extensive, but it's definitely worth checking out if you're in the market for a bike, prices are too high, though. Also, warning: the tuning that this shop does is just dreadful. I've had two bikes from here tuned up three times and the chains are constantly derailing on all of them. It's like having two fewer gears on your bike, because going to the top or bottom gears will derail half the time. It's a great place to get a tune up if you love being on the side of the road fixing your bike all the time.

This was a amazing bike shop for many year's until recently. As a former employee of Recovery Bike Shop, I will honestly say that the ownership as of recently has changed what Recovery Bike Shop has been known for. There is no longer experienced mechanic's on hand nor working for the company to assure you have a awesome ride. The owner can not afford to keep experienced people on hand to even help/train new people. What was once a staple of the mpls bike community is now, sadly, almost a thing of the past...

Employees were really nice and helpful. I didn't feel judged even though I don't know much about bikes. They helped me find the exact bike I wanted and this used bike was way more affordable than a new one. I even got to pick out my own handle bar tape color! Highly recommended.
