The room was much nicer than I expected, with comfy beds and decent decor. However, the toilet bowl was mildewed (but no odor) and there was dust on the remote. It appeared that this particular room had not been rented in a while. On the plus side, the place was quiet, the water was hot, and the staff was courteous. I'd say the value was average. I would stay here again.

My husband and I stayed the night here traveling from Tennessee to Texas. It's reasonably priced and right off the highway. There are several restaurants and fast food places nearby. It's currently being remodeled. Our room was really clean and nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Room was very clean and fairly modern bed was very comfortable and clean ac worked well and they take pets also included fridge. Staff was very nice. Area seemed quiet as well. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was ice machine was in hot room and slightly melted and it looks like it needs to be replaced and is probably why there was no ice bucket in the room. But all in all would definitely stay again.

Stayed on 8/9/17 after a long road trip and the two (yes, 2) reviews were fairly positive, so we thought we'd give it a try. Pleasantly surprised by this place. They are still undergoing a remodel, and our room had updated beds, furnishings, appliances (including a new hdtv, mini fridge with separate freezer and mini microwave). A/C worked well and the room was cool upon arrival, almost like the left the A.C. on for us (pun intended for the folks who recall Motel 6's slogan about the light). Will definitely be back if I'm in the area. Front desk staff was great, and very accommodating. 5 stars if the parking lot was bigger (we're towing a trailer). Dog loved the tile floor and big queen bed, fortunately she didn't like the floor too much!

The hotel is hard to see from the road. It is behind the shell gas station. Other than the fact that I passed it 3 times before figuring out where it was, this place was great! Newly remodeled rooms (so new my room still kinda smelled like paint). The room was clean and spacious. I stayed with my 2 large dogs and they even had room to wrestle and play. There was no breakfast in the morning, but I've noticed that is common of red roof inns in the south. Great stay for the price!
