Came here after poor results ordering online. Great service. Staff courteous and knowledgeable. Imaged my arches for insoles. Suggested and tried 10 pairs. They don’t only carry $$$$ Red Wings. They have lower priced options. They carry tactical and hiking styles. Very happy with the Irish Setters I got. UPDATE: One year later, worn daily, boots and laces 100%. More comfortable than ever. Always warm and dry. See pix.
Majority of the product range is in store, staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Store itself is quite nicely designed and has comfy sofas and seats for when you're trying boots on.
One of the best quality boots which are also at a moderately affordable price, and a large selection to choose from. Definitely recommend them for any one looking for boots which are comfortable, work great and also look good. Amazing customer service, they measure your foot and find out the pressure patterns before suggesting the correct fit for the feet. Greg was super helpful and answered all the questions I had.!
Nice pop up shop for Red Wing. The staff was helpful, polite and patient. You need this when purchasing these boots fo the first time. Nick is the man he reconditioned my Roughneck boots and recommended inserts to make my feet comfortable. I hardly wore my boots before, now i'll wear them more often.
Patrick was very kind and helpful. The 3D scanning equipment they have in store helped me find a better fit than I think I would have found otherwise.
Always wanted a pair of Copper Iron Ranger boots. While in NYC for a conference, I paid a visit to this store. Christian 10 years with Red Wings greeted us and asked how he could help us. He went through the fitting process like a boss! He and his team are VERY knowledgeable on fit, proper care etc of Red Wing boots. I walked out of the store with an amazing pair of boots that fit perfectly AND will break in to fit my feet for years to come. If you are in NYC and had been on the fence about buying a pair of amazing Red Wing boots, do yourself a favor and stop by and see these folks. You will not be disappointed.
Excellent staff in a well laid-out store. Knowledgeable and ready to help with sizing, style and material selection. They measured my feet & brought out 4 pairs of boots in the style I wanted within 10 minutes of walking in the store. Explained their answers to every question I had and made the whole experience worth it. If you’re unfamiliar with Red Wing boots, sit down & check prices on the website first. They’re a longtime investment I’ve waited years to be able to make & im glad I did.
I was excited to get my first pair of redwings and read a lot about how other locations size their customers and show enthusiasm at their job. I was helped immediately by a staff member which was nice, however he paid very little attention to sizing. Only measured my foot length and stood a decent way back to do so. No ball of foot pivot point or width measured. He brought out several sizes no problem, but I found the experience had a lack of guidance, especially considering it was my first boot purchase and reading about the expert fitting from other locations. Also not much information of how different leathers will stretch or fit. I ended up picking up a pair that I now think is a .5 size too big. The guys on Reddit are far more helpful at describing leather wear, sizing, and overall heritage information. Overall I felt the sales staff who assisted me wasn't really in to what he was doing.
Came in looking for a work boot that can take a hit. I was helped immediately by a member of staff. He sized my foot both length and width and was very attentive to me. Left happy with the perfect sized boot.
