Small but beautiful, great family camp area, can be hiked casually in a few days. If your looking for a good family day it's perfect. If your looking to have a good trek as and advanced hiker, try trough creek state park.

I grew up around this park as a kid and I go there still to this day. It has changed a lot over the years because of lack of funding. There still are very nice hiking trails and streams to fish and nice camp grounds. It also has a little playground as well. I really miss the pool that was there once though. In its place is a tiny area that is slowly turning into a swamp. Could be turned into a pond maybe?

Great place to fish or picnic. They also have a nice little outdoor park for the kids.

Nice little park with Honey Creek flowing right down the middle of it. Trails run along either side of the creek and there's a campground on the southeastern side of the park. The snowshoeing was a lot of fun when I was there. Trails appeared to be well maintained as were the parking areas.
