There is a beautiful lake with a guarded, roped swimming area on a sandy beach. Camping is available as well as pavilions with fire places. Charcoal grills and picnic tables are also there for you convenience. Trails for hiking and running are quite extensive as well.

This is one of the smallest state parks I have ever seen, but it is beautiful here. A short hike along White Tail Creek will take you past a couple old camp sites, not sure if they are still used or not. Very peaceful, but easy to miss if you're not careful.

It's odd that this is not simply part of the neighboring R.B. Winter State Park, but either way it's a nice place to relax in the picnic area or walk through the woods on the trails. Places like this are nice because they are quiet and peaceful as compared to the popular crowded parks.

McCalls Dam is a beautiful tranquil place that soothes the soul.

So small you could drive right past it! Be sure to follow the creek and look for the geocache.
