Great park with amazing views of the valley below and the horizon across the mountains. Free to access, public restrooms were very clean. Road up to park can be a little tricky, go slow and carefully! Its a tight, twisty road that is not very wide yet two way traffic(up and down) Well worth a stop here when in the area.

This place is awesome. The pictures don't do it justice. This is a nice place to have a picnic and spend the day the entrance road is narrow and with lots of sharp curves and steep watch for on comming traffic. Perfect for bikes and small vehicles. Some spots it's tight for a full size truck. I don't recommend trying to pull a trailer up or even drive a large motor home to the top. I don't remember it there are restriction signs at the entrance.

View of the valley is picturesque. Ride to the view point is also great especially the fall colours. However no facilities at the spot i.e. proper washrooms, water or food. Johnny on the spot is available but you know it can be sometimes :-( If you are interested in hand gliding call the state park or check their website for their schedule. I wished they were available when i visited...it would have been a wonderful flight in the valley.

Visited on October 14, 2017 - one of the highlights if visiting central Pennsylvania. On weekends during the spring, summer, and fall, you may see hang gliders take off from just in front of the wall overlook. Warning - scenic but dangerous 2,000 foot climb to summit along a narrow road. Go slow and you won't have any problems. Small unpaved parking lot. Small washrooms onsite but no other amenities. If you need food or gas, go to nearby Renovo first.
