It had been a while since I had eaten at Macaroni Grill. Well the food alone has made me want to return. But I would have to say, the service was stupendous. Unfortunately, I do not recall our servers name but he did an outstanding job. So let me set the scenario.....we visited Macaroni Grill in Round Rock on Saturday 5/26/18 which happened to be my daughters H.S graduation day. She asked me if we could go eat there because she loved what she had for dinner at Macaroni Grill on her prom night a few weeks prior. We were able to make reservations for 18 and yep all 18 showed up. So that alone was impressive. Server was on point. Please understand, when I say on point, I mean on point. For my son, who will soon be 20, to say "....man - dad the server doesn't have to be told to refill our drinks nor do we have to flag him down for anything" - now you know he was on point. The food was so so good - (for lack of a better word). Don't know what they do with the stuffed mushrooms but damn. My food was excellent.....let me just say this, leftovers - only 2 to go boxes that's all. Remember we were 18. I will definitely return and highly recommend Macaroni Grill to anyone who wants real good Italian food.

First of all, the food was good which is why I gave 2 stars. Secondly the service was horrible. We went on a Monday, late afternoon. About 4 pm. There were two other tables occupied. We waited 45 minutes for our 1 salad which we shared and wasn't particularly good. Our appetizer, the calamari, came about 20 minutes later and it was good. As we waited and waited for our one entree, our waiter meandered back to our table to ask if everything was okay. When my husband wondered aloud why it was taking so long, the waiter said nothing at all and just walked away. Our entree came about 45 minutes later with no explanation nor apology. While we waited. I went to use the facilities which, quite literally, stunk. Not figuratively, literally. Nauseatingly so. According to my husband, the mens restroom was just as bad. All in all not a good experience. We won't be visiting this location again.

Best service ever! At an extremely busy time, as we stopped to pick up our online order, we were told we would have delays. The servers and a bar tender were both excellent in serving us while also giving us dessert and rushing to collect our order. We have never experience such wonderful customer service anywhere! So impressed and touched by the willingness of the staff that met us at the door and worked to get our order done almost in no time! Amazing team and food. 11/10!

Service was AWEFUL on Mother's Day from hostesses, servers and managers. They were unprepared for how busy they were even though guests had reservations. They didn't keep tables filled so that even though tables were empty people with reservations were required to wait more than 30 min. to be seated.

Good - Decor - Food good and what needs be hot is hot and what needs to be cold is cold Difficult/different - Staff seems checked out and not present not motivated - fake a smile at least - Tiffany needs some work... There are only 6 or 7 covers and we have to flag waitress down. Other staff helping her with our table. Food saved it from being a one star.
