Stumbled in here but won't be again. Just average Mexican food. I stumbled in because it was late, and I really wanted Mexican food. The free warm sauce that came with the chips was the best thing I ate. The food had no seasoning. You can see in the pics my colorless shrimp fajitas and colorless rice. The fajitas didn't even come out sizzling, and they had almost no peppers. The charro beans were a little above average. The restaurant was very clean. My server gave really good service, and the prices are reasonable.
Great place! Owner is super nice. Homemade flour and corn tortillas! Really enjoyed our first visit. Definitely coming back
Ordered 4 large margaritas, 2 orders of fajitas. Each order was per 2 people. Only gave us 1 small sauce for all of us to share. Got the tab after we had finished was about $115. We had leftover meats, but not enough tortillas so we asked for extra. Asked for 3 tortillas, waiter printed another receipt and charged 40cents per tortilla. We asked how come we spent over $100 and still had to charge us for 3 tortillas. Since we asked he took it off the tab. Didn't get water refills BTW. Food is good, but will not come here again due to lack of service and tried to charge extra. Ps. The alcohol and food tax were separate on the bill.. never seen that before but okay.
I had a pickup order. I was able to wait in my car upon arrival and the waitress delivered the order to my car. The chicken taco salad was the best taco salad that I have ever had. It was delicious and the presentation was excellent.Recommended dishesTaco Salad, Charro Beans
Reading some of the previous reviews, my expectations were low, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The service was great. They filled up our chips and salsa almost immediately upon running low. They came by several times and asked if we needed anything, but not so much that it was annoying. The place was about half full, so not sure if that was a factor. Anyway, nothing to complain about there. The queso was great. I didn't have a can of Rotel dumped into it, but I actually prefer it that way. Rotel has a kind of metallic taste. If you want a Rotel like queso, just mix some salsa in and it's even better than Rotel. The salsa is top notch AND it comes warm which I love. The beans and rice were good. They seemed a little less salty than I'm used to, but I prefer that as well. There's too much salt in everything already. If you want you can always add more. I tried the chicken quesadilla and while I thought the queso was little bland, my kid loved it. I got the pambazo which is a basically a torta with potatos and a teeny bit of chorizo, where the bread is slathered in something called red guajillo pepper sauce. Not many places serve it, but it is really good. The one here was made in a way I'm not accustomed to. The ones I've had had the guajillo pepper sauce baked into the bread. Here, it was slathered on after the fact, making the bread wet. It still tasted delicious, but you have to eat it with a fork and knife unless you're willing to make a huge mess, and there's no saving it for later unless you're a fan of soggy bread. Maybe it's a regional variation? Not a big fan of doing this way, but like I said, it was still good. Prices were not great, but not horrible either. All in all, really good. If this place was closer to my home I'd come here often. For now this will be my pambazo place.
In the fall revisit Oct 13. Combining 2 star visit last time with four star visit previously. Sloooooooooow service. Chicken tortilla soup was like non other. That’s not a compliment. Had veggies in there I’ve never had in other soups. Clunky presentation—fajita meat too big to eat, had to cut it up. Won’t go back. First visit in Springtime. An unexpected late night meal right before closing. Very accommodating. Chicken fajita nachos were delightful. Steak fajitas were tender and had a great taste. House margarita was perfect and cheap. Will need to go back for happy hour.
Food was good. 1st visit they forgot to add chicken on kids nachos and today or second visit they forgot my son's side of avocado and put tomatoes on other son's tacos when we asked for no tomatoes. They brought out avocado and offered to fix the tacos but my son choose to just take them off since everyone at the table already had their food. PLUS for this place, the young man that brought out our chips and Salsa is super nice and courteous! My kids actually look forward to him!
Been a long while since I've not been satisfied by food at a Mexican restaurant. The service was exceptional. But the food can improve a lot. Taco salad had very little content for the price. The taco was quite oily and inconsistently brittle and soft. Looked big when they brought it. But there wasn't much. My son got a kids quesadilla. 2 small quadrants doesn't count as quesadilla. My wife got vegetarian enchiladas. The waiter in all eagerness took our orders properly. Still the enchiladas had mostly just spinach. My food tasted ok. For that and the amazing prompt wait staff, they get 3 stars. Food quality and quantity need to improve a lot.
Highly recommend! Got the choose 4 meal and loved having that option of 4 items I wanted. My wife and I came when the Patriots played the Jaguars and the staff was very helpful with turning on the game which included turning off the music and turning on the sound from the game. Not only was customer service great but the food was perfection. Not a single complaint. and I’m picky Great family environment and convenient location.
Service overall was good, food was good Margarita needed to be well mixed asked for frozen strawberry was hardly red needed more flavor. Decor is very nice
