Ronda's Travel Corner

Ronda Richards is not trustworthy or honest. She sold us travel insurance for $700 in November for a river cruise the end of May. She never purchased the insurance until a week before our trip at a cost of $498 and has never returned the $202 she owes us - not to mention we went six months without insurance. She booked us in the wrong deck of the ship. She did not honor our request for plane seating. She does not take phone calls or return them. No surprise she is being investigated for fraud.

Finally the authorities caught up with these scammers. I have an elderly family member that got ripped off by these people, TWICE! Federal law protects older citizens and so does Tennessee law as it clearly provides that: Any person who knowingly uses, or has knowingly used, a method, act or practice which targets elderly persons and is in violation of this part is liable to the state for a civil penalty of not more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000) for each violation. They should be ashamed of themselves for doing older folks this way. Hopefully the local law enforcement will prosecute them for their misdeeds as they give LEGITIMATE small businesses a bad name. Too bad I couldn't give them ZERO stars! Shame on YOU, Rhonda.

Didn't get travel information until the last minute going to Punta Cana, DR and returning. Showed up at the airport and did not a flight. Had to get her to re-book because United didn't get the money either. Arrived at my resort 12 hours later. Paid for the resort twice and was given a bad check for reimbursement. Vacation express cancelled the "original" trip with a charter flight that would have been perfect because the travel agency did not send the money I paid Ronda's well within the applicable time limits. My resort was booked via expedia last minute and was set to Hotel collects fees after I had already made the payment in full. I was given NO travel tips from Ronda's Travel Agency. It was one of the worst experiences I have ever had to deal with.....Traveling to Iraq in the military was easier. I called almost daily and most days twice a day with the same response, "Leave your name and phone number and I'll have her call you back". Avoid this vendor like the flu unless you want to be RIPPED OFF!!!

Worst trip ever! Was suppose to.be a surprise 24 year belated honeymoon to Cancun. All-inculsive, vow renewal beach front room. Less than a week before we were suppose to leave we found out they booked us somewhere else, but was "suppose" to be just as nice with ll the same perks just smaller. WRONG! No beach front room, no extras, no vowal renewal, no air, we did get smelly rooms though at a 3 star resort.

Changed hotels on us last minute, booked cozumel fishing trip and instead given a different fishing trip from hell, no fish, no fish, just water, new hotel in middle of nowhere, so we had to rent a car to leave the hotel, spoke with others on our our charter trip and they were not even given a room, they had to stay with other guests for the night. We want our money back! Stay away from this travel agency.
