Story

Established by Dr. R.L. Smith in 1925, Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center has been serving the Arkansas River Valley for more than 85 years. The hosital is a licensed 170 bed acute care facility with nearly 100 physicians on active medical staff. Saint Mary's has continued to grow, expand and add new services to meet the needs of the growing communities we serve.

Saint Mary's associated healthcare facilities also support the River Valley area. Millard-Henry's network of clinics, Saint Mary's Wellness/Fitness Center, Home Health Services, Outpatient Therapy Center and Valley Health Services work together to provide quality comprehensive healthcare to the people of the Arkansas River Valley. Saint Mary's is proud to be accredited by the Joint Commission and is consistently recognized by other credentialing organizations.

Receptionist in the ER on 1/12/2018 1800 did not follow procedures of patient confidentiality. Came in lobby and out loud said what was being said making it very uncomfortable to be at this hospital. Personally I believe the staff needs to review hippa and patient confidentiality user agreements. Did not allow or give permission to announce what we were being seen for. That’s the reason for the glass window

Very unimpressed. My daughter had an abdominal ultrasound done and they never called back with results. Finally I called them and they told me the results were "negative." No details, etc. Except there were, in fact, two abnormalities on the ultrasound, confirmed by a different hospital. We will be seeking treatment elsewhere going forward. This hospital and associated clinics needs to be seriously audited.

From out of town when our three month old got sick. No med check place would see her because she was not 6months yet. We went to st. Mary's ER and it was great. The lady checking us in was very sweet. The male nurse that first got her vitals and all checked in was awesome and so patient with our daughter. Then everyone from the lady checking us in and out, the pharmacist, to the Dr who saw her were so great and so patient. It was just a little cold but they were so helpful and made us feel so comfortable, and even gave us a little Pedialyte for the road and a new diaper. Loved it! It may be an old hospital but the care we received was wonderful!

The STAFF of this facility is horrible. They’re rude, they act as if the patients are bothering them. Horrible bedside manor on the nurses. A lady passed out in the Emergency room took them FOREVER to help her!!! Your best bet is to just go to Dardanelle Emergency room.

Could they save your life? Probably. Are there some nice people that work there? Yes. Do I drive to conway if I’m not bleeding out? Yes. Expect to pay a lot for their sometimes poor service.
