Johnson Regional Medical Center has been serving the population of Johnson, Logan, Franklin and Pope counties since 1922. The initial vision and commitment of local physicians to care for sick patients that started in a meager boarding house has now become a first-class healthcare facility licensed for 90 beds. This community focused, non-profit hospital is specifically focused on providing modern, comprehensive healthcare services in a convenient location. The 35,000 square foot expansion now houses a state-of-the-art emergency department, new radiology facilities, five surgery suites, and a beautiful new registration area. This is the worst hospital I've ever been to my new born daughter has stopped breathing on 2 different actions. The first time she was admitted from Thursday to Sunday and they couldn't figure out why so instead of sending her to children's they send her home. On the second action I have to call 911 and the ambulance had came and had to put her on oxygen and yet they only monitor her for 2 hours and say it was a chocking episode when she hasnt ate in 45 mins. They determined this without any test I highly recommend not going to this hospital

I had a very bad experience after coming in with a serious injury that eventually led me to become crippled. I was in such severe pain that I would have taken my life. The assigned doctor did little and seemed to have a controlled with arrogant attitude. The staff was relegated to his leadership.
Granted this was on the weekend and they eventually determined that they were ill equipped to handle my condition, but the pain management was non-existent. I wound up in OKC where the primary practitioner went above and beyond with care from the moment I stepped in.
As a business leader I am sure there are many at Johnson Regional who truly do care.This experience for me was surreal.

ER is horrible service. Ran a bunch of tests without explaining what or why they are doing them. And then forgot I was still in the trauma room and still hooked up to the EKG.

My (4) star rating is based upon the attentive nature of the nursing staff only. Thank you ladies and gentlemen.
As a patient it is necessary to get options when there is a financial impact. The Doctor I worked with was too busy to give these details and short with me when I asked about other scenarios.
To all other patients at this hospital. ASK the questions! We were given no option but to take an ambulance to Little Rock. Thousands of dollars! When we said we would like to drive ourselves, they said "ok". 
You would think they would give those options to avoid a ridiculous fee.  Hey doc, I know you are good at what you do. But you might need to reel it in a bit and recall that we are human, not numbers or taking up space in a room. We would appreciate you taking a minute to be sincere and give advise and options.
