Wanted the strings on my tenor Ukulele changed. Lowest price I could find was $30 plus strings. I thought wow that’s pretty high but decided to go ahead ,but then remembered seeing a Sam Ash Music Stores. Called them and guess what...... THEY CHARGE $15 and a young man named Eddie took care of it while I waited. Great people and great store. Go see them and see a well kept and very uncluttered store and great people to visit with. Thanks Eddie V.

I like Sam Ash. I bought my very first drum kit from Sam Ash way back in 2004. I’ve chosen them over stores like Guitar Center since then. My experience today was not an enjoyable one, however. I was recently gifted an electronic drum kit, and had an issue with the fitting of the snare pad. I initially called a handful of times to check if it would even be worth the trip. No one answered the phone. So, I made the trip into the heart of Glendale to confer with the drum experts at Sam Ash. I was greeted by Justin, and he proceeded to examine my pad. During his initial inspection of the issue he was quick to infer that this issue was somehow a product of my meddling. This was an off-putting comment, but easily laughed off. He helped me the best he could without possibly voiding my manufacturer’s warranty. When he wasn’t able to resolve the issue he proceeded to insult the kit. That was the comment that bothered me. This was a gift, and I don’t appreciate the condescending comments that came with my requests for assistance. I was able to resolve the issue myself when I got home, and now the kit is working fantastically! I still support Sam Ash, but I am upset enough by the interaction to let Sam Ash know about it. Other than today, 5 stars.

Selection is great. All of the employees are really nice and very helpful. It's a very nice place and a friendly environment. Sam Ash beats guitar center every time

I just bought my dream guitar at Sam Ash at 4402 West Cactus. The salesman, Art Seechoma, was stellar in helping me choose the right guitar. There was zero sales pressure. Art made the experience enjoyable because he listened carefully to what style of music I like the most, what style of guitar I want to learn, and what qualities I was looking for in a guitar. He spent over an hour of no-rush, personalized time with me to help me make this very important decision. A guitar is an investment. But more than an investment, a guitar is potentially a life-long partner that brings years of joy and resonates in us long after the musical experience. Art was very knowledgeable in all aspects of guitars and he has a personal passion for playing the guitar. He demo'd music with each guitar I was interested in, and he was very respectful and professional while I looked at many different guitars. All the staff at Sam Ash are very polite and professional. Most importantly, when I got home, and took the guitar out of the case, and started strumming, I knew I had picked the right guitar. I love the guitar! Thanks Art!
