Excellent, Clean, and friendly staff. Stayed here the week after Matthew came thru, checking in on Monday evening. Power was out when we drove in, but was back on by the time we got hooked up. This was our first 'long term' shakedown, and our 2nd trip ever. The campground has two footprints/areas. The northern? area is all paved, with paved pads, but no cover. The other (southern) is in a wooded section both areas seemed great, although the southern section did have a couple spots that were closed due to the 'waters of Matthew' :) We stayed up north, in spot 8, near the check-in building. This IS military only. you can have non-military family, but not sure how they would get thru the gate if they left for groceries or something. I'm sure there's a process, just never asked what it is. DW loved it as well, but lamented on the lack of fire pits. She REALLY wanted to do her s'mores over a campfire... Not sure if there are firepits on the southern part of the park, but definitely NOT on the northern end of the park. Ocean Pines is also close, but having done a drive thru (and JUST a drive through, did not seem nearly as nice. -- although it IS outside the perimeter guard posts, so you don't need a military ID to get in.

Went last summer and had great experience with staff they even accommodated me when I decided last minute to stay over extra.

Awesome! Clean, comfortable and adjacent to gorgeous stretch of beach! Thank you for stewarding such a great spot. We'll be back!

Love this place so much level sites, great bathrooms, Laundry, and beaches to enjoy The staff where so helpful.

It's on the Navy base, must have a military ID. Spaces are pretty tight and it was hot and muggy in early June. Access to the beach is good. Full hookups. No change machine for laundry. Had laundry and showers. Restaurants and grocery close.
