Favorite lunch spot on the vineyard! Amazing views, great cocktails and fabulous food! I ordered the hot lobster roll and my husband ordered the fish and chips! Both were excellent! The hot lobster roll was stuff with delicious claw meat and the fish was light, perfectly battered and not oily what so ever! We are both incredibly picky when it comes to our seafood, but the Seafood Shanty’s lunches were so tasty, we came back for lunch the next day and ordered the same entrees! We will definitely be back for a meal the next time we are on the island!
Amazing experience. Excellent view of the boats moving in and out. Wife and I ordered way too much, but lived it all. Drinks were delicious and definitely weren't weak. The lobster dip was loaded with large and small chuncks of lobster. The hot and cold lobster rolls were fresh and generous. Chowder may have been the best I've tried yet. Suggest the lobster quesadilla. So much meat! Topped it off with a full 1.5 lb lobster. Bill was 220 after 20% tip. Service was perfect, even though they were very busy. When we go back to the island, this will be where dinner is going to take place.
Really good mudslides and a great view at sunset. However, the warm lobster roll could have been better. The bread was hard and stale. Service was quick and friendly. The espresso martini tasted was too strong. Not a typical espresso martini so just prepare yourself.
Fried calamari and lobster roll were large and delicious. The fish taco was overcooked. Service was friendly and super fast. Make sure you dine outside to really enjoy the experience.Food: 4/5
Came here as a recommendation from a local and it was delicious. Our bartender/server were so nice and friendly. Answered all our questions about the menu and was helpful. Drinks were so refreshing and food came out quick. Great experience! Pictures are Lobster Roll & Chicken Sandwich. Drinks are Berry Booze & Margarita.
What a great place, fantastic views, great service and really good pub grub. The calamari starter with a tangy side sauce was fantastic. Our waiter was also very nice. The last two pics are from the views we had.
Fast service. Kind staff. Good food. Ninety minutes for a table, but you didn’t even need that long with how quickly the food came out. The Bloody Mary- spicy, not thick. Solid Mary. Cold lobster roll - buttered roll with shredded lobster. Could have used a little more mayo or something so it was a little more “wet” but large portion and it was tasty. Hot buttered lobster roll - large chunks of lobster. Very tasty. Fish and chips - flakey cod not over seasoned and AMAZING fries. The fried fish was average/as expected, but you’ll want to come here just for the fries. Special swordfish skewers over salad - large chunks of fish that were well seasoned. Great spot and their outdoor patio is covered in umbrellas, so sun or a sprinkle, you’ll be ok. Solid spot. Will come back for sure.
Absolutely a must visit! We came in October, and noticed the hours the restaurant was open weren't dinner friendly 11am-5pm so we stopped in for a seafood filled lunch. I had the steamed lobster, which was so delicious and fresh! Good size claws too, which I think are the best part! The french fries here are amazing! Nice and crispy with a delicious batter! Yum yum yum! The waitstaff were awesome, very attentive and friendly. This place fills up quickly but provides super fast service! I only wish they would be open longer but perhaps during the off season the hours aren't as long.
Great sushi, New England Clam chowdah, and Ice cold drinks. The Bloody Mary and Rum drinks were great too. Very scenic views. Really nice outdoor patio seating. Excellent staff.
I highly recommend you all this restaurant. All dishes are amazing and good potion. Especially I love seafoods platter and fish taco. There are also kid’s menus. I visited there in July 2021.
