Wow! The food is amazing! Hard to believe but the artisan sourdough bread with the spread was indescribably delicious! The smoked beets appetizer was also a taste sensation. The halibut was tasty Some great drinks too Highly recommend!

What a good find! The food is the best I've tried on the island. Above and beyond with flavors and variety of ingredients. I had the seafood homemade pasta that was absolutely delicious. I will be back! Oh, and staff was incredibly polity and attentive, better than average.  EDIT: August 2022. Food is still delicious, service was very slow.

What a wonderful dinner that we stumbled upon. Outside on the side patio we started off with the cold spicy cucumber appetizer and the cheeseboard. A perfect balance of spicy definitely on the spicy side and coolness. The cheeseboard was small but very good also. Main courses consisted of the kale salad which was really very good and the mushroom ragout which was out of this world!  Definitely eat here while visiting Edgartown.

Wonderful Dining experience! Service was good. Everything from drinks to the appetizers to main course were exquisite. We loved the Clams , pickled cucumbers and the beet salad. Will return on an empty stomach to enjoy the full course next time we visit.

A really really good restaurant. Delicious, well prepared and presented food. Really nice decor. Attentive, friendly staff. Great cocktails. A must for a great night on the vineyard. A favorite.

The Covington is a lovely non-touristic high-end restaurant perfect for those special occasions! My type of place: well thought out décor, extremely well trained and lovely, engaging staff, and of course, delicious fresh, well prepared food made of high end ingredients. The homemade pasta with bolognese was top notch and I highly recommend. Best bolognese I have had in the US!

We had a great meal, great wine, and great service at The Covington. The interior of the restaurant was lighter and brighter than The Port Hunter across the street and a little quieter. The food at the Covington was very fresh, with refined flavors, and was presented beautifully. We started with a spicy cucumber salad, delicious, a squid ink pasta with egg yolk and the fresh catch of the day which was exceptional. Our waiter was a young man we recognized from a nearby wine shop and he provided great suggestions for wine and gave very attentive service. While the Port hUnter was a little more of a social atmosphere, the Covington was a lovely place for an intimate, delicious meal.

Oh my gosh. I had the best drink I've ever had here! It's called the "Chilmark Old Fashion" and it's unbelievable. If you enjoy whiskey/bourbon/scotch and coffee, this is going to blow your mind. I went back later in the week specifically for that drink.  As to the food, it's great. The service was excellent. I highly recommend going here. Ironically, across the street there was a line out the door. I was quite happy sipping my cocktail on their sidewalk patio watching everyone else wait to get in.

Perfect for date night. Call ahead if you don’t have a res. Fantastic service. Phenomenal food. Highly recommend the halibut and the bone in pork chop. The corn cakes are to die for. Did I mention the killer cocktails and wines by the bottle &lt;$60!?!
