Never Again Sears!! We bought a dishwasher on a black Friday deal. The process of the purchase was fairly quick and painless but everything else that followed was a big headache. We got our appliance delivered the next Monday as promised however, there was no handle in the box. Its just a handle, no big deal. We didn't make a big fuss about it but we did need it because it is somewhat necessary. We contacted the store they directed us to the parts department and we set up to get one delivered in 7-10 business days. We were supposed to get a confirmation email that never arrived. Called back a couple days later and apparently that former request was never actually processed. So I tried again with the sales associate. Once again never received a confirmation email. When I called to verify they assured me it had been processed on their end. So, I waited the 7-10 days (because they couldn't expedite the delivery). 7-10 days later, no part. When I called again apparently the request "slipped" through the cracks again. Long story short one month later we received our handle. I try to keep things in perspective and not make a bigger deal out of minor inconsistencies but I have to say, its not rocket science. How hard can it possibly be to deliver a small part in a timely manner? And because this review is long enough I won't even go into the headache the credit card service turned out to be. Sears your system is a joke and it is probably why you will soon be out of business. The sales associate and everyone we dealt with were professional but at no point did any manager or associate ever try to accommodate us for the trouble. Poor customer service is why I will never shop at Sears again.

Purchased a washing machine exactly 1 year ago ( LG model) and now the lid won’t lock to permit a wash to be done. Took 2 1/2 weeks for a repairman to get here and sure enough he doesn’t have the small part (a magnet) to lock the lid and now he has to order it and will be back in another 2 1/2 weeks. Will never deal with Sears again. Interesting enough, my father and father-in-law as well as myself used to purchase Craftsman tools from these guys, but lately I’ve seen that they are poorly made and very shoddy to work with. Once again, no more purchases from Sears..

So had a delivery set for a fridge on Friday. I shopped every store sears promised they could get it to me the fastest. So I waited mind you delivery was setup for 1:45. So Friday comes and I text my husband about 3 he says no fridge I said ok and called. Was assured we were next they were just running late. So I went back to work then 7 rolls around and my husband texts still no fridge. So I call and get the same damn answer I am pretty mad at this point as he sat in the house all day instead of running the errands. So I demand they call the delivery driver. At almost 8 I get a call from the driver of sears oh I couldn’t make it today emergency. I apologized to him but informed I was pretty pissed no one in the sears management team felt I deserved to know that. I mean I just paid you 3000 for a fridge and another 80 to deliver to me. So he said his manager would call. All I wanted was my delivery fee refunded. Here come the next set of lies. No one called me no one cared. So I called them spoke with someone who again said nope we will have them call you. Again no one did so called again this time got a lady named Bonnie. Here is where an even bigger tale of lies is spun. We are so sorry for your experience we will give you a credit for your delivery fee plus 100 so roughly 180 bucks. Well i have called her many times since and guess what still no credit all though I have beeen told they have issued it. So I guess tomorrow I will be making a trip fridge shopping with another company and will be going to sears to demand a refund in full as well as pickup for this fridge. Never have I been treated so poorly and never will I be using that company again.

Went to 3 appliance stores today..no help or “not in stock”. Came to Sears and Sanjuana Torres found what we needed right away and also found our old account to credit us points for a huge savings off our freezer!! Thank you! Exceptional service!

Sears just can't seem to understand what customer service means in this new online age. I purchased two items, got the email that they are ready to pick up, went to the store, suddenly the email with my order barcode and sale # are not sufficient despite what their email says. Without the credit card available the pickup can't happen...WHAT? YOUR EMAIL SAYS I JUST NEED MY EMAIL WITH THE BARCODE AND SALES #!!! Then I try to contact support...every attempt redirects you to their FAQ database...FAIL!!!! Their live chat...TOO BUSY, TRY LATER...FAIL!!!!! It is time for Sears to go out of business. Back to Amazon, at least they keep up with the world today.
