This is the first and probably the last review I have ever given to any company or for any product. I do not like giving reviews, BUT I have had enough from Sears and their online ordering and Sears lack of customer support... If I can give anyone any advice its "DO NOT EVER PURCHASE, SUPPORT OR ORDER ANYTHING FROM SEARS" My experience with Sears has been the worst I have ever witnessed. Sears online ordering and customer support has been atrocious and extremely frustrating. After placing a $600 order, using a $150 gift card and the additional expense of 2 day shipping I noticed they had my address wrong. For example, they had 505 when it should have been 507. I tried to get in touch with Sears immediately to rectify the simple error but was unable to reach anyone after multiple attempts. On the following day I tried again and was finally able to talk to a representative of Sears who told me my order was cancelled (not by me) and when I asked why the order was cancelled Sears was unable to give me an answer. I was ultimately was told "sorry, but there was nothing they could do to help me" and that if I still wanted the product I would have to order it again and my original purchase would be refunded 3-5 business days. I would have to pay the FULL AMOUNT and would not be given the credit of my gift card. This means I now have to float $1200 until the first $600 credits back to me. And that gift card? Gone. I reluctantly decided to order it again and low and behold I got an email saying my order had been cancelled AGAIN... I called again and again was told "sorry, but nothing they could do to help me." they were very willing to take my order AGAIN, AGAIN, and now float $1800 which I informed them was insane. Sears had made me feel worthless, helpless, useless and like I was only here to give them my money without any product to show for it. But they were MORE THAN WILLING to help me keep spending money on an issue they created. I needed this product for a business I own, in fact I was counting on it. (I paid for the 2 day shipping!) I needed it so I could take care of customers who rely on me to provide the services I say I will. Unlike Sears who refuses to provide the service THAT I PAID FOR TWICE. Now this situation has hurt my business and hurt my company's reputation. Words cannot describe my frustration and disappointment in the one and only and last order and business I will ever place with Sears. IF I ever get my gift card credited back, I almost want to throw it and be done with Sears. The fact that a paying customer is willing to forfeit $150 is pretty telling as to how I feel about Sears and their company.

Just a heads up to those taking advantage of the going out of business sale. Price check, price check! They have multiple items marked down, but the prices are steeply inflated. We were looking at an elliptical for 2499, sears online has it for 1100 and they won’t price match. Same with the Weider Pro weight rack, it’s 599 downtown and you get 30% off of that with the going out of business sale, of course in Jordan Landing the same rack is 299. They won’t price match or give further discounts for floor models. They are also no longer accepting returns. The employees are empathetic, but totally swamped and not empowered to make any price matching. I sure feel bad for the few remaining employees, I have no idea how they’ve convinced these people to stay with the store until closing. This is the management style that has led to the demise of sears. Bummer man.

Had Sears do some tile work for me. I expected with the price they gave me I would be getting top of the line work where there were many others who were willing to do it for less. But I'm a sucker when it comes to a salesman coming into my home and pressuring me to make a decision on the spot. So long story short, they told me they'd do a lot more than they actually did and the quality was what I'd expect out of someone who didn't know what they were doing. During the installation, i told them what was in the quote they gave me, and they just told me they weren't given the parts to do it. And I waited for about two months without hearing any kind of updates and I thought they had probably just forgotten about me. And the grout looks nothing like the sample. As big as sears is I would expect top of the line customer service and detailed fallow through. I will not use them for any future projects. It's also apparent that they care little about their customers based on other negative reviews without trying to resolve any. They're all about getting the sale which is quickly going out of style in today's market.

NEVER get a flooring estimate from Sears. After an hour and a half of a ridiculous sales pitch I had to threaten to throw them out of my house to get them to give me a quote. Over $2,200 for one room at the lowest grade carpet. The sales people literally argued with me in my own house. Absurd! We went with a local place instead. Saved a bundle and had a great experience. I wish I could give Sears zero stars.

To echo what some others are saying, definitely beware the "marked-down" items. They have adjusted the original prices significantly to essentially bring the price up to or close to original prices. That said, I haven't seen that with clothing since those tend to be original tags. It only seems to be with big ticket items.
