Nicely presented and professional Mini dealership. The sales people were young and enthusiastic, yet mellow and made it clear they were just there to answer questions and help shop. No pressure sort of place. I had service done on my used Mini Cooper S that I bought elsewhere. They treated me as if I bought a new car from them. No European car service is cheap, but you get what you pay for. I am a mechanic, and can tell decently ran shops and techs by looking at how the work areas are set up and kept. Mini Seattle service department is beautiful and well kept. It's the kind of place you want to do the work on a car you love. As far as the work, they did it right and the car runs like new again.

Great service, friendly staff. Getting a new mini Cooper was a smooth and enjoyable experience. Also, when I came back to get my plates on they gave my car a free car wash and not only that, vacuumed the interior! I didn't know they were going to do that and I was very pleasantly surprised.

I recently bought out my lease, and it was such a nightmare. Customer service here is usually exceptional but it seems like something has changed. I was not provided the total payoff amount, or the other fees involved when purchasing your lease. The website doesn't provide that information (now you have to forfeit your plates when you buy your lease due to the RTA tax). They agreed that I did my homework, and gave me a 50% discount off the $250 inspection cost and apologized. It's been a month and I'm still waiting on the title. I called to find out where it was and the person said they don't have information about that, and that I should just ask someone else when I come in to get my plates. I sincerely hope that the Mini dealership in Lake City is working on improving their level of customer service because this is just disappointing.

Normally I have exceptional service here. But my most recent visit was a disappointment. I worked with Nicole who was awesome, she suggested a couple of additional fixes, to both I obliged. The issue part was a replacement of a brake light. It was burnt out so I agree to replace it. On my move this week to San Francisco I was informed that the light was still burnt out. Yesterday when I called to talk to someone I was connected to Jeromy, he was condescending, rude and flat out told me there was nothing he could do. I have a local Mini dealer close to me that I was going to take my car to have the bulb again replaced, but Jeromy stated that they were owned by different people and there wasn't anything they could do. I'm disappointed in my service, my conversation and the lack of customer obsession. I'm a loyal mini customer but this has definitely shaken my level of trust and may influence my decision when ready to buy a new car.

This Review is about the MINI Service Center only... and not about the Dealership as a whole. To start with, someone needs to teach the Customer Service Representatives to smile. Secondly, they need to be taught how to be a little considerate. They seem to be quite arrogant for such customer-facing positions. They would have no hesitation in refusing service by using lame excuses. They do not hesitate to bother customers to come back multiple times unnecessarily rather than help resolve issues sooner. Thirdly, they could use some better learning about customer co-ordination, courteous behavior, and common sense rather than go by textbook like statements. Lastly, they are very expensive when it comes to labor, in addition to already expensive parts. It is a pure rip-off big-time. For everything they would charge 2 labors - one for diagnosis & two for fix/install. Ideally, they should credit back the diagnosis towards fix/install if the customer chooses to perform the fix then and there. The technician is not really going to spend twice the amount of time. Very Unreasonable Service Center. I wish I could avoid going there. But, there are parts that are available only at the MINI service center. So, I have to force myself to go there. Sometimes, it feels as if the technicians program the cars such that the customers are required to come back to the service center every other month. I am unable to quantify that statement, but that is my genuine gut feeling. Overall - Seattle MINI Service Center : BAD
