VERY BAD EXPERIENCE - BAIT AND SWITCH ! BASHING THE COMPETITION, NEEDLESSLY! February 2018 ~ While talking with the sales rep (Lindsey) I mentioned that I had shopped at a local jeweler for the same quality loose diamond I was looking for at Shane Co. ~ Without knowing the name of the other dealer, she proceeded to verbally bash the competition, making comments such as "fraudulent" and "government shutdown" and "illegitimate certifications" , while not knowing the name or reputation of the dealer she was talking about. A very poor and ineffective way to represent a product, and old school method of trying to close a sale by intimidation. THAT MADE ME VERY UNCOMFORTABLE about doing business with that company, yet, I continued to try and purchase the stone, as it was the diamond that I thought I wanted. She could not close the sale (she had already lost her credibility), so she TO'd me to a guy named Tim. I could not come to terms with Tim on the pricing, so I left the store. Subsequently, Tim and I had a phone conversation where we agreed to terms on the price of the loose diamond. I went directly to the store to purchase the diamond, and he had a diamond ready for me when I walked in the door, took me to a remote location, out of the showroom in an attempt to write the order. At that time, he presented me with the order and I asked to look again at the diamond (he was not aware that I had examined the diamond at length under a loop and knew every inclusion on the stone, while I was with Lindsey) TIM PRESENTED ME WITH A DIFFERENT STONE, AND REPRESENTED IT AS THE SAME ONE I AGREED TO PURCHASE. The stone he was trying to pass off on me was of much less quality, with many large inclusions (an unbelievable difference in quality, NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!) It culminated when I called him out on it, his demeanor changed dramatically, his color turned pale, he began to stutter his words and quickly put the stone away in his jacket pocket and dismissed me! A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE TURNED OUT VERY NICELY when I went to Jared Jewelers at the Aurora Mall, and had an OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END. I purchased a gorgeous stone there at an exceptional value. I highly recommend shopping at Jared Jewelers at Aurora mall., NOT AT SHANE Co.

Each time I go in, it is a very laid back process. They are not pushy at all. The employees work to get exactly what I want in the price range that I want. No pushy sales tactics here at all. The quality of the stones and jewelry is amazing.

My husband and I both purchased our wedding bands, as well as my engagement ring at Shane. They are truly amazing in their selection and life time guarantees. The commercials are absolutely true, you won't find the pieces they have anywhere else and they will definitely have your taste in jewelry somewhere. They are always heavily staffed so someone will be able to help you and they have never been pushy or made us feel uncomfortable. Their layaway made it possible for us to purchase 4 rings in a short period of time, and you don't pay any extra fees or interest for utilizing layaway. I love going in their for my 6 month inspection because my ring looks brand new after they've cleaned it. The one time I had a loose diamond, they immediately told me, handed it over to the lab to fix it and called me 3 days later to tell me it was ready. It didn't even leave the building because their lab is right there. I've know 2 friends who use other jewellers whose rings "got lost" on the way to the lab to be fixed and never got them replaced. Shane's customer service is second to no one, certainly not in Colorado. Oh and their sapphire jewelry is specatular!

Great service, but they are really busy on Saturdays so sometimes you have to wait a long time, I think more reps should be on the floor on the weekends so people can get taken care of in a more timely manner. But once someone does help you, they are all very nice and knowledgeable. The jewelry offered is great quality and a competitive price.

Went in to get my watch fix, was greeted right away and sent up to customer service. Worked with yanna who explained she would have to take the watch into their jewelry shop to see if it was a brand they were able fix. I was expecting to wait for a little bit since the jeweler seemed busy. She was in and out in a matter of 5 minuets with a watch that fit.
