If I could give zero stars I would. I opened by account nearly 8 years ago at the 105 location, beautiful office and lovely people. Now living in Kingwood, I have been forced to use the Kingwood location these last 5 years. Dilapidated store with terrible customer service. My husband banks at Chase across the street and I'm treated better there than I am when I, the member, walk into Smart Financial. After my numerous horrendous experiences this last month I've had my last straw and will be moving my monies elsewhere. There couldn't possibly be worse customer service anywhere else. Kingwood takes the cake. Especially their management team. My mother has been a member for over 10 years and couldn't believe what I've endured. She has a great team at the Rayford location from what I've heard. 
 Based on these reviews it looks like more and more people are getting a wake up call. There aren't any benefits to being a member at this location. Only badgering.

Opened up an account yesterday. The building itself makes you really question if this is a place that you would like to keep your money. Very ghetto looking! Customer service was okay, I guess. Lady that I spoke to answered my questions with either very little knowledge on her part, or just didn't want to talk to me. If it were not for my sister sitting next to me, telling me the perks of banking at this facility and selling it for me I would have  gone elsewhere( the last I spoke to sure didn't have the skills to sell it to me). Still not sold on it...

Terrible phone service. Call wait time is excessive for this organization. I was unable to call their office directly through the website(s) phone numbers.
When I go directly to their office the staff is friendly and helpful, and using innovative techniques. Now, if the phone service of SFCU would do as well as the Kingwood staff.

We have had an account for many years. Sadly I'm closing my accounts today after a botched dispute with Teresa at the Kingwood branch. My husband used his card to pay for shipping on a sample. The company is a sham and immediately began debiting other amounts. When I caught I reported it. By then we are out over $500.00. They won't allow us to speak directly with someone in credit services and the sham company doesn't answer the phone. So disappointed in there current customer service and support.
