Bad experience with the service department. After much arguing paid the bill but still felt like I drove into the wrong area of town and paid a ransom to get out. I get that diagnostics have to be done to determine a problem, but it took me 24 hours to figure out what was wrong and that the extended warranty wouldn't cover much at all. I regret calling and setting up an appointment. My time is just as valuable as your time and being without a vehicle for 24 hours was unacceptable. The process should have gone at a much faster rate, hence why I brought it to a dealer in the first place. Regardless of any explanation given by whatever sales rep we can find, the facts are this charge should have been handled in a different fashion. Though not your fault the warranty company can't cover the work, it seems a bit rough to add insult to injury after informing the customer. Hind sight is 20/20 they say. You win this time

I went for an issue with the car battery. I was told I needed a new battery and an entire new positive cable. I am a woman , but I know basic auto maintenance and I know that a damaged cable terminal doesn't require to change an entire cable, that by the way was going to cost me $328. The battery was definitely overpriced as well, so in total $511 for just that. Amazing how still in this day and age repair shops, especially dealership try to rip off women. I took my car elsewhere and got the battery for 40% less and the cable terminal was replaced at no cost to me. A total of $119 for the same repair. I knew exactly what was wrong with the car, but still asked questions and the answer I got regarding the cause for the battery corrosion was just laughable. You will do a lot better when you start being honest with your customers.

Had a wonderful experience with the service department. I thought it would be more expensive but Joe was able to save me some cash! Right before the upcoming holidays too! Could not possibly be more thankful!! Highly recommend everyone to go there! Thank you guys so much!!

It exceeded my expectations! I dropped in on my day off thinking it would take a couple of hours to get the recall done with me not having an appointment. I was very please when i was told that it would only take 45 minutes to an hour to complete. It was exactly one hour when my truck was driven back around for me to check out and go and they washed it as well!! I have always gotten good service at Smicklas but this was great service in my book!!
