I needed to update my social security information so I traveled to this office this morning.  Security guards were very professional and helpful.  I received my number and waited for about 15 minutes and my number was called.  The lady behind window 13 (sorry but I forgot her name) was super friendly and helpful.  She had me on my way within 10 minutes!  I had an excellent experience at this office.  Other SS offices should take note of this offices internal operations.

My experience today was pretty good. As has already been pointed out, the parking is a nightmare......way too few spaces for the number of people waiting to be served. You just have to spot someone leaving the building, make eye contact with them, and then arrange to slip into his spot when he leaves. 

The process inside is very like the DMV. You go to one of the two 'check in' machines, and you are issued a ticket relative to your issue selected from a menu list. The menu options didn't cover my issue.....change of status from Permanent resident to citizen.......but I selected the social security card option, and that was correct apparently. I waited about 30 minutes for my ticket number to be called, and then the process of the status change took only a couple of minutes.

I had a very positive experience. The Field Office Manager (Ms Press) that helped me was professional and very pleasant. The facility inside was clean and bright.

Staff helped us promptly at 9 am and they were very courteous and helpful. Place was clean and well organized. Limited parking, so get there early if possible.

I was prepared for a long day of waiting, but read reviews, and got here early. They open at 9, but I got there around 8am, parked and got in the line outside. One of the security officers came out and said they would open up inside soon to get everyone situated but would not officially open until 9. And they did just that - they got us in, to the right ticket booths, and at 9am, Ms. Shin took great care of me. From the opening of the window to pulling out of the parking lot, it took a total of 12 minutes. Fantastic service! Thank you for making my day easy!
