Good old fashioned hardware. Has some of everything. Great local source for repairs around the house. More expensive than Home Depot or Lowe's, but it's only blocks away and has Knowledgeable people to help you.

I love this store. We went to have some keys made and while they were making the keys we wandered around the store. We were probably there for almost 2 hours (according to my back). They have so much stuff. Stuff you had thought about, but never got around to buying and stuff you had never thought about and realized you needed! There is always someone to answer your questions about the stuff you are seeking. (George Carlin, may he rest in peace, would have loved this store.)

These guys have hardware going back 50 years. If you need a crystal doorknob or an S.O.S. pad or six feet of hemp rope, this is the place. I've seen hardware stores that used to have these orphan goods but when they sold only two a year they clear the space for more profitable stuff - the same stuff sold in every big box store in town, Southland is full of old specialized tools and tack that you didn't even know they made. And it is staffed by similarly old guys who can give you noobies the advice you need to get that project working.

Great old fashion hardware store. They had everything and plenty of helpful people to assist you. They were verry helpful -- and super friendly at checkout. I got in and out much faster than I would have in a big box store -- with a smile!

Very good experience. Everyone very helpful. Had to do a return and exchange and everyone went out of their way to help me.
