Really cool quiet spot to while away some time. Lots of walking and biking trails. $10 fee to park near the lake. There is tight arse I don't want to pay my way through life to protect parks parking up near the highway within walking distance of the lake. Wonderful autumn (fall) colours. Some good opportunities for wildlife images but the locals are skittish so you'll need a hide or a long lens or both.

First time, enjoyed taking the 2.5 mile loop around lake. The Aspen tree's will be gorgeous to see in the fall. Unfortunately there is no swimming. Signs are  posted about leeches in the water.

Amazing place to take landscapes and wildlife photographs! Photo around every ben. Tip thou, take some mosquito repellent, in summertime! Here is a bench view of lake. Also cost $10.00 to enter lake. Think $2.00 discount if you live in Nevada.

Great location, and the drop point for the Flume Trail Northbound, make sure you pack Bug spray at times in the summer the mosquitoes a very prominent!!!
