The Owner hired a neighborhood boy to put together bikes over summer break. He was very excited to have his first real job, something you never forget. He didn't have to fill out any W2 or 1099...shocking. When he asked, they said he'd get $8/hour. He worked 6 hours Thursday. 5 hours Friday. And today, Monday, 2 hours until someone came in to store to beat up the owner and the kid ran home. His mother called to say he wouldn't be working in that environment as a 13 yr old. The owner got mad and said he only worked 2 hours and he would not be paying the kid. PLEASE THINK HARD ABOUT GOING INTO SUPPORT THIS NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS. JEFFERSON PARK IS A WONDERFUL COMMUNITY AND THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!!

Hello It is Mike I had been there today, I bought something, I think three years ago, the experience was at least I can say thrilling, I asked about the tire tube, I was fixing my friends tandem, He told me right of the bat, that "today You have to leave the bike they will install it tomorrow" I only came to buy, Today 6/2/2017 I thought maybe He had a bad hair day, and so keeping in mind "shop locally," I went there, I tried to get a tire tube for my unicycle, I told the gentleman what I needed and that the size was (20x2.50) he told me $20 for two okay (shop locally) than I also asked the owner if he has any compatible tires that I could buy, he said "go around the shop take a look at the bicycles." We also had a small conversation about the size of the tire tube i just bought, it was marked (20x1.175-2.125) I asked if it will be good even though I needed (20x2.50) he said "yes, that is the reason I am here and you on the other side of the counter," Anyhow, by the the way I had been treated, I think I can say, that entity is revolving around his own sun, don't dare to come close or you will be burned.

I went to repair my child bicycle chain, it fell off the gears and owners charge me $100 for 5 min work I paid and I never will be there again in Glenview cycle you pay for the same job $ 8-10 ??

I'm restoring an original hutch pro racer and was looking for a bike shop... I almost just have to go in here after reading these reviews.
