The Good: Great little place on the square. The salmon salad was delicious. The environment is unique for the area, but very good. On par with Kenny’s Burgers. The Bad: Ordered the burger medium, got medium well (no pink at all). The bun to burger ration was leaning more toward the bun, making each bite start juicy but end dry. The seating arrangement does not leave a lot of room for movement between tables. The Ugly: Some of the benches and such were ratty, with pieces missing. Recommendations: Reduce the bun thickness. Allow more space for movement between tables.

Excellent burger. They also have some good soup and salads. It's is a step up from a typical burger joint with (I think) a seasonal menu. They also have a good selection of beer. There can be a bit of a wait in weekends but it's worth it.

We drive 17 miles to get here, driving by many other places, but it is worth it. Salmon burger is fantastic, even their mixed greens salad is inexpensive, but great--slivered apples, glazed cashews, lemon vinaigrette dressing on mixed greens. BEST sweet potato fries with garlic aioli EVER, trust me, just try them. Usually have excellent seasonal soups. Nice wait staff, friendly, relaxed.

Good "craft burgers" if you want a good old fashioned cheeseburger, go to bakers. If you want a burger like what Bob would serve, then this is the spot... fantastic

One of my favorite places to eat when in downtown McKinney. I love the Bleu cheese burger. It is amazing. The sweet potato fries are really good. The staff is always friendly. If you go past 12pm, expect to stand in line. They get busy fast!
