About Us

States Insurance Agency is located in Hudson, FL. We are approximately 1 hour north of Tampa. We are a single location office with 10 employees, 8 of which are licensed. We have been in the same location in Pasco County for over 15 years.

We are an independent agent and members of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America. We represent many fine companies such as The Travelers, Progressive, Foremost, Windhaven, Infinity, Gainsco and many others.

We are a full service agency offering homeowners, personal auto, motorcycle, RV, boats and complete business insurance including bonds. We have over 3000 clients. We are licensed in Florida as well as Colorado and Wisconsin.

Our agency was voted the Best Insurance Agency in Pasco County by the Tampa Tribune. State Farm was second and Allstate third.

We have a robust marketing program which includes multiple county newspaper ads. In addition we have hired 2 new employees in the past 2 years to help promote our marketing efforts.

The owner of States, Inc. is Tim Grossman. He has been in the insurance business since 1977. He earned his insurance certification, the CIC designation in 1986. He has been the past president of two local chapters of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America. He is also an approved expert witness for insurance matters and has testified in dozens of cases.

States Insurance Agency is fully automated. We utilize all cloud based systems. Including our telephone system which is VOIP and internet driven. QQ Solutions, with Evolution is our data base manager. Quick Quote is our rating system which includes our MVR service. States Insurance Agency does not charge it’s clients any fees except for MVR’s.
