If you're going down to the hot springs, take the road down to the campground! The path works but it's extremely steep and sketch and they both end up at the same place.  Great beach though!

Beautiful environmental sites (a few minutes hike from the parking lot), cabins are in a prime location (down the stairs from the parking lot), firewood is available (at the parking lot) next to a donation bin, and the entire place is well kept. Make sure to have the combination for the locked gate, put your reservation confirmation on your dashboard, and carry cash for the firewood donation bin. Soak it all in!
