I almost bought a beautiful 2012 Outback Limited from them, but found a rare excellent 1995 replacement for my totaled 1998 Legacy. Oddly, the 2012 Outback had better selling points than I was told at first—like all recall work done. Price was very good. Salesman David Nielsen was affable and organized. I was a tough prospect because I research ’til the cows come home. Had I not found that incredibly rare good 1995 Legacy, I would have bought from them. Price was good, and I like that they just put their best foot forward on price, and leave it at that. Makes the process less stressful. I don’t give five stars only because I wish I had been told more about the good things up front, saving me some research time. But my research showed a good deal in the end.

We were referred to this dealership by multiple people who have bought vehicles from them, as well as from repair shops who had knowledge of their service reputation. We had gone to another dealership immediately prior to arriving at Steve Lewis, and the experience was night and day. The salesman at the first dealership was your prototypical car salesman. Aggressive, charming, and fast moving. But as soon as we arrived at Steve Lewis, the pace was slower, everything was explained with greater depth and clarity, and it was pressure free. We worked with Paul as our primary salesman and Glen on one occasion when Paul was not available, and both took time to explain (honestly) what they could offer in a car and from a monetary standpoint. I believe Paul said it, but it was said a few times that the Subaru sells itself, and that is how they treated the experience. Obviously they are salesman, and they did their job well and successfully, but the approach was that the right car would sell us rather than their sales pitch strategies. They were there to guide us in ever step, answer questions, and offer suggestions. No "what if I was able to make you this deal, can we shake on it today?" or "this price is only available until you walk out that door" garbage. We actually saw a Subaru that was a little newer, a little nicer, and a great deal at a non-Subaru dealership prior to buying our Forester from Steve Lewis, but the sales experience completely turned me off. The experience with Steve Lewis was great from start to finish, and as long as we are buying Subaru, we will buy from them.

I recently went in looking for a newer used car to replace my older Subaru. Expecting the same shark attack you would normally expect when going car shopping, my defenses were up. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I got all of the time in the world with my sales associate, who methodically worked through the used stock with me to ensure we short-listed a handful of vehicles that fit my needs. We spent the afternoon test driving several cars until we found the right one. The easy experience didn't end there, as we went over reasonable pricing for my turn in vs. the car in consideration for purchase, I was pleasantly surprised again with the low-stress negotiation. Bottom line, I got what I wanted, all in a nice easy day of shopping. Great experience! Thanks, Glen!

family member recommended we check out Steve Lewis when we were in need of quick replacement of our SUV. David helped us from start to finish with excellent knowledge, communication and organization. There was no hassle or stress (which was a first in terms of a car buying experience) and he went to great lengths to assist us in any way he could. Everyone we came into contact with at the dealership was friendly, smiling, and helpful. On the day we picked up our car the process was well organized and we were able to be in and out quickly. We couldn't be happier with our car purchase or the dealership we chose and we are grateful for having had David as our salesman!

I had gone to another dealer and received a run around on my purchase. The next day received a call Steve at Steve Lewis Subaru, his ability to make you feel comfortable and made want to go to Steve Lewis Subaru. 45 minutes I was being greeted by Steve, who had called me, he introduced me to David Hanks, the best automobile salesman I have had the pleasure to meet. He totally went through the two Subaru’s I was interested in and explained both Subaru’s and their differences. We went over my trade in, agreed on value. We talked about payments and explain each option separately and then talked about my best option. Once decided I talked with finance manger. He made sure all that David had explained was correct, I then signed a sales agreement, set time and day to pickup. I arrived at Steve Lewis Subaru to pickup my beautiful New Subaru Premium, I was greeted by David and he introduced me to my delivery consultant, service department personnel and everyone else I came in contact with, making me feel like I was at home. This made me feel so positive that I had made the correct decision to purchase my New Subaru from Steve Lewis Subaru. The most enjoyable experience in a long, long time. (Ps. I’m 70 )
