The hot food area is set up once in the day. Sandwiches too. That's it. Nothing is fresh. Well except the cashier's, they're fresh, and loud, and obnoxious.

Nice store but their regular prices are very high, even compared to other Stop & Shop stores in the area (20-30% higher than the Somers store for a couple of small items I found recently). Lots of self-scan registers. Customer service can be lacking, especially if you get one of the former A&P employees. Shelf prices had not been updated to reflect the new sales when I was there on a recent Friday afternoon. That said, it's a major improvement over the A&P that was here before.

Very little organic produce aside from leafy greens. Small produce dept overall, couldn't find the garlic! I saw it on an obscure end cap on my way out. Need more organic produce such as onions, potatoes.

What I like about here is that you find more gourmet products as well as good specials.
