I stayed at the stratosphere hotel from 8/8-8/11 and had a great experience all around with very few issues. 

My group of 5 (2 rooms) arrived around 11 AM - check in is 3 pm- and we were able to check in immediately and get going with our day. Our 3 night stay was just over $200, which is a fantastic deal!

We stayed in a standard room which was spacious and had a big bathroom. Upon arrival there was a wet washcloth that was left on the sink (from the cleaning service in assuming) and a few receipts on the floor out of sight under the bed from the previous guest, which is why I am rating the hotel a 4. 

We also visited the top of the world restaurant and bar, which was expensive but worth every penny. The customer service was great, as well as the dinner, cocktails, and desserts we enjoyed. And the atmosphere up there just can't be beat. We also rode the rides at the top, and were able to get through the lines quickly. 

My group visited the buffet, which wasn't amazing by any means, but there were plenty of options for everyone to enjoy, but there are definitely way better buffets in Vegas. 

Overall, my group had a great stay at the Stratosphere and I would recommend it to anyone. There were very few things I could complain about, I just wish it was a little closer to the middle of the strip instead of all the way at the end.

We went to the Observation Deck, I've seen the Stratosphere all my life and I've never once thought that you could just use it as a view point instead of actually having to go out on the rides. From parking to actually getting there was super easy and pretty fast. The Stratosphere might look old on the outside but the inside looks brand new, especially the casino that you have to walk through to get to the actual tower. Once your up top, the stunning view is one of the first things you see and it's great, there wasn't too many other people so if you wanted to go up there for a romantic night, it's definitely possible, over you're on the Observation Deck, there's the first floor where you can walk and look around the whole 360° but it's through a glass, but then you can go upstairs and view only the strip with no glass, it's pretty great. Definitely will go back.

It's a dark casino and the staff seemed do unhappy to be there.  We stayed two nights and they just did not smile and looked miserable.  The rooms were ok but the rooftop pool was cool and the buffet area was very clean and the food was great but those things didn't make me want to gamble there.  I should have taken pictures of the shower (take shower shoes). I put stuff in their mail box about two weeks ago and it still hasn't arrived.  The public restrooms were clean.

We went for the thrill rides and it was a lot of fun. Employees were very nice and helpful. Lines were not too long and handled efficiently. The hotel is really far down on one side of the strip and it's not easy or convenient to get to. Also the area was a little sketchy. Definitely would not spend a lot of time at that hotel.

We only visited here and did not stay . This review is strictly for the view from the top. Its a great view but it cost too much for people that don't stay in the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. You rise to over 800 feet above Las Vegas and can see the city very well. If you really want to you can jump off of this building for a hefty fee . They will hook you up to a cable and let you jump. There are also a couple of amusement rides on top of this building that will get your blood pumping.  I don't seek adrenaline rushes so I just enjoyed the view.
