Phoned Strickland's earlier the week to inquire about classes for my son. All my questions were satisfied and we were invited out for a free trial. We took my son the very next day and he loved it. The staff was very friendly and inviting and left us feeling our son was in good hands. We got him signed up and we are looking forward to the next lesson.

We have a wonderful experience attending Strickland’s Martial Art's. They are terrific with kids and our 8-year-old loves to attend their classes. They truly take the time to get to know each student; something we've appreciated tremendously. Highly recommend!

Strickland’s TKD is a really fantastic school for kids and adults.  The instructors are patient and great with kids of all ages.  My 9 and 6 year old son’s are enrolled and they look forward to classes every week.  I am enrolled in the adult classes.  The curriculum for adults is focused on more practical applications of self defense, while youth classes have greater focus on traditional arts and some of the more exciting moves that middle aged bodies aren’t capable of doing any longer.  The school also has a great mix of male and female students—both in the children’s classes and the adult classes.
Students are very supportive of each other and always willing to help beginners learn and improve skills.
Overall, our family recommends Strickland’s Tae Kwon Do and I would recommend it for anyone interested in learning about self defense.

My daughter, Ava has been going to Strickland's for over 1 1/2 years and we love it! The instructors are great and very personable with each individual child. We have grown to love the staff, the kids, and the parents as well. We highly recommend Strickland's to anyone looking for a good martial arts school.

I have had the good pleasure of Mr. Strickland's friendship for many years.  We met at a Taekwondo Tournament in the late 80's and we're both young and determined to grow a successful Taekwondo business.  George moved to Charlotte where he quickly adapted to the community And began to develop a reputation as a professional martial artist.  Many successful black belt students and a few generations of new instructors came from those grass roots.  

Fast forward to today and Mr. Strickland can still be found instilling the ancient values that he acquired from his instructor.  His school in Dallas has flourished and he has once again become an icon in a community representing he very best of what martial arts training has to offer.  I am still proud to call him my friend and hold his expertise in high regard.  You would be hard pressed to find a more satisfying training and social experience.
