If you want an amazing piece of jewelry along with amazing customer service extending to well after you buy, go to Summa. I bought an engagement ring here about 8 months ago. The experience then, and continuing today, has been excellent. I shopped around many of the St. Louis stores, but after I stumbled into Summa one day and looked at what they had, I pretty much knew I'd be buying it there, even though I continued to shop around. They don't carry a huge stock, and it's not the cheapest, but what they have is the nicest I found anywhere. I probably went in and out of there 4-5 times, sometimes asking them to ship different stones from around the country, which they did without hesitation. I'm the kind of guy who generally dislikes talking to salespeople, even when they're very nice, such as here. They were happy to leave me alone to use the microscopes, see how things looked in outdoor light, etc. as long as I liked. The products sell themselves. On top of the amazing quality of what they sell, their customer service is excellent. They have been happy to clean the ring, free of charge, any time we bring it by and answer any and all questions we've had. At one point, early on, we found that something had gone wrong with the setting. Jim Summa stayed open late so that my fiance could bring it by, fixed it that night, and had it ready the next morning. Jim fixed the issue perfectly and everyone at Summa was extremely apologetic and gave us a substantial gift card for any future purchase. They are clearly a quality driven store, and any issue with the jewelry was clearly unacceptable, and unusual, in their eyes. This was all about 6 months ago, and they have continued to provide great service. I will be using them again for future purchases.

Awesome experience buying an engagement ring! We found exactly what we were looking for. The service was personal and knowledgable. We were on a budget and he "got it". He knew exactly what sort of stone we were looking for. The owner, Jim, is also a great advocate for recycling and the environment!
