If you'd like to meet the perfect combination of incompetent and lazy, visit this store. I walked in asking for help with an exchange and the first person I talked to just pointed to the other person working. She then offered to adjust the glasses (not adjustable) and said they were unable to complete any transactions because their systems had been down for a couple days. She was, however, hopeful they'd be back up 'in some time.'

Okay, yes, it's a storefront for the Luxottica monopoly, but the staff is very friendly and helpful. I went in for what should have been a quick arm screw replacement, and even though the job turned out to be tricky and difficult, he never got frustrated or short with me.

The Sunglass Hut is where I have been purchasing sunglasses for many years. I am ok with paying a lot of for the glasses because they are high quality and protect my eyes, and are fashionable as well. I have received good service and I often take advantage of the warranties which help since it is easy to damage or break glasses. I like the soft sacks to store the glasses that double as fabric to clean the glasses.

Nice store, decent selection of sunglasses....outrageously high prices. After buying a pair on Ray-Bans I liked, I just happened to check online to see if I'd gotten a decent price on them--only to find them on Ray-Ban's website for $50 less (not including the 8-whatever percent CA sales tax). I understand a reseller needing to make money to stay in business, but don't rip me off in the process. A $50 mark-up on a $189 pair of sunglasses is not acceptable.
