Bought my kids (6 and 8 yrs.) bikes from here. Eric’s bike shop quoted me $400 a bike (Of course those were brand new). But I couldn’t talk myself into paying that much for a bike that the kids would out grow in 2 years. Spent $40 a bike, at this place. Works great, no issues and they tuned 4 bikes and we bought 2 for the kids …all in all $125. Five stars in my opinion.

This place sucks. Here at 10:45 and then at noon on a Sunday when their hours are clearly 10 to 6. And no one is here. And nothing is posted on the door or on the web. Plus they've had my bike for over two weeks claiming that they were waiting on "brake pads". Who doesn't have brake pads? So the next day when I asked them why they weren't open on Sunday all the guy said was "it was May Day man." Like I have ESP. No notice on door. No apology for not putting up a notice. Plus my bike was dirtier than when I dropped it off. And the new chain they put on slips. It only gets 1 star because it's cheaper than other bike shops.

Inexpensive repairs here. And often, depending on the job, obviously, they'll do minor repairs right on the spot. Twice i've broken down on the road and was forced to walk for the better part of an hour, and when i shuffled in, the owner fixed my problem for free (in one case it was a broken chain, which he replaced, installed, and calibrated.. He told me to just come back and patronize again sometime, that was it). Totally saved my butt! Yes, i like this place.

Saw the positive reviews and was hopeful. However, this Sunday I walked to the shop and arrived at 4:30 to find the place locked. I saw a man inside and knocked. He opened the door and asked what I wanted. I said I was looking for a bike. He told me they were closed. I asked if I had read their hours incorrectly. He said I had not, but they were closing early today because "it's been a long day." Unfortunately, there's just too many other options for bike shops out there for me to waste time giving these folks another chance. I prefer not to go to stores that turn away customers an hour and a half before closing because they want to get out early.
