Big variety of different instruments at a wide range of prices, so I found one I liked at a very competitive price compared with online sellers. Staff was very helpful. I'd recommend checking Silvan before you buy. It's always best to try the instrument hands-on, which you can't do online.

Guitars and stringed instruments, all kinds.   Huge selection of accoustic from well known brands and local luthiers.   Many high-end electrics and pedals... Not what you'd find at guitar center.  Some of the best repair in the county - if they don't know,  they know who to ask. Their selection of basses is limited but always good ones.

Really friendly people, bought a guitar over the weekend and staff was pleasant and super helpful. Look for Max when you're there, he is great.

Great selection of instruments to try, especially if you are looking for Santa Cruz Guitar Company.
