We had our first bad experience at Tani Thai last  night. The Oriental Neanderthal looking dude that works there came by and my son asked for another Thai tea. His response...."ask your server, I'm very busy ". Not something you tell a customer, especially when he had brought out a few of the items that we had ordered. I ordered the Volcano Chicken....mild on the spice, and it was so hot I had to keep gulping water during the entire meal. Go on a week night when they're not busy.. otherwise the service and food quality tends to suffer...

I have been coming to this restaurant for over 25 years once or twice per month. Excellent food and great service. The longtime staff know everyone and treat you like family I've never been to Thailand but I have had Thai in New York and this food very favorably compares. Not exactly inexpensive but the portions are huge so you always have leftovers. Maybe not "exactly Thai" but incredibly peanut sauce and really good food. We'll worth the trip.

I have been coming to this restaurant for many years; the interior was remodeled recently and it looks good but quality of food has declined, it’s greasy and taste different. My husband and I don’t  like the new taste

Always love coming here when up in South Miami. Staff are lovely, food is always amazing and you just gotta have 1 or 2 Thai Ice Tea's.
