This bank is so understaffed and spends all its resources dealing with retail customers that business customers get absolutely no attention.

Spent all day trying to get this bank to respond to a request to verify a bank draft with no luck.  Ended up costing me a day's wages for a driver who could not pick up his cargo in Quebec as the bank refused to verify that the bank draft was real.  I called many many times to the bank and no one ever answered. I was forced to visit the branch only to be told that they would respond asap.  It is the end of the day and they have yet to respond. Meanwhile they are spending all their time and resources dealing with trivia such as explaining to a retail client why there is a $3 charge on their bank account.

Unorganized and horrible customer service. I had an appointment, and I was told when I come in I would be escorted promptly to the office in which my meeting was. I stood and I waited at the “help and advice” desk, unattended to, for over half an hour. Literally no one came to even ask if I needed anything. Waste of time, Scotiabank would never.

This branch definitely need more tellers- All of them were absolutely unqualified and slow which made the line full of frustrated people waiting for their turns. I also saw two tellers chatting with one another right in front of me.

The staff at Keele and Finch make a big deal of little things. I asked the woman at the reception to type me a letter containing 4 sentences. She said it will take them a day to do that and  if I request them today, I will have to come and pick up the letter tomorrow. I stepped out , went to the other nearest TDcanadatrust at 2390 Keele where I got the letter promptly in 10 minutes. The only thing the staff at Keele and Finch are prompt is in saying  "Thank You"  without any action .

Staff are utterly unqualified, completely disorganized, confused and seem to be in vast discord with the rest of the branches of this bank.
All of the aforementioned qualities have cost me a lot of time, energy and nerves. If it wasn't for my previous experiences with other branches the account would close after my first interaction and lack of follow-up with the senior members of the staff. 
Horrible and unbearable, stay at least a mile away from this building at all times.
The bank itself, I repeat, is amazing and rock-solid.
