The experience at my university has been a true blessing. Love the people here, the positive environment and the staff. The campus is lively, full of history and a great future. TSU has taught me to appreciate your heritage and love your black roots. HBCU is something I would recommend for everyone.

The best time of my young adult life. For,  it was truly a blessing to be able to attend Texas Southern University.  The campus was growing, and so was the student population.  Texas Southern University, did not just allow me to get a college education.  It gave me an all around every day life education.  I meet some wonderful people there, as well has having the opportunity to see a college and Staff that care about it's students and the community that surrounds it. Texas Southern University is rich with loving and caring people that want to see young or older adults regardless of ethnicity be successful and make a positive mark on the world.  Thank you Texas Southern University,for helping make me the man I am today.

Yikes the recreation center is very rude. There are basically little kids working there thinking they are the boss. That's needs to be checked. They constantly  cause problems I already wrote a complaint. And more will be written. They took my stuff without permission also.

This school is f---ing awful! Absolutely NO organization, incompetence is absolutely rampant, and the faculty is lazy as HELL. I transferred here as a graduate student and have been met with nothing but problems. They've continuously lost my paperwork. You'll quickly find yourself doing their jobs for them while offering you absolutely no help in return. You're basically flying blind the your entire stay here and if you have a better option, which I didn't, avoid this place at all costs. I wish I did and somehow came up with the money to go elsewhere. Just stay away because the only good thing about this place is that tuition is reasonable. Oh, and be prepared for crime reports at least twice a month and all the "police" do is sit on their phones and try to pick up the female students. This place actually made me miss U of H, despite them lying to me every chance they got. Also, forget about picking your own classes because, newsflash, you have NO academic freedom in that they pick your classes and times FOR you as if you were a freshman, and even freshmen at other schools pick their own classes. I hope you don't work nights because if you do you should either quit or choose a day shift while there's only ONE professor teaching the class each semester. Just stay far away from this hellhole.
