I was really excited to come dress shopping, and this was the first place I went to try on dresses. Let's just say that I was extremely disappointed with my experience, and I will not be recommending this place to anyone ever. 

First off, my mother and I arrived at 12:25 for our 12:30pm appointment (Saturday) and we were not greeted by anyone until 12:35pm. We didn't mind too much because we knew there was another bride trying on dresses. At 12:35pm, we were called to the counter to get started. I remember filling out a form prior to my visit containing questions about what I was looking for, but those questions were asked again at the beginning of my appointment. What's the point of having the survey is they don't actually help you be more time efficient? Anyway, the lady helping us (I can't remember her name) was very sweet and nice. She was the best thing about the appointment overall. 

Another thing that made my visit terrible was the manager on duty at the time. When I came out in my dresses, she could tell I wasn't too happy. She was asking me what I was looking for and I let her know what my dream dress was. Her immediate response was that I shouldn't want those things and finding my dream dress was extremely unlikely. I then proceeded to tell her that I did not want strapless dresses while she was pulling some, but that was all she pulled. She told me that I didn't know what I wanted. I went back to the dressing room and was crying while the young lady put me into another dress. I was so over it.

In the dressing room, I tried on the first strapless dress. The manager came in and said "this dress is so you!" and my first thought was "...you don't even know me." I could tell that they were trying to get me into dresses just to get me out of there sooner. I did not like ANYTHING I tried on.

Coming into this appointment, I was also aware that the appointments lasted 1.5 hours. My appointment time was at 12:30pm, so one would think that I could be there until 2pm. Well, at 1:30pm, the sweet lady showing me dresses says that she will put two dresses into my favorites so that I could come back. My mom and I looked at each other and were very confused because we still had another 30 minutes there. We were pretty much being rushed to end our appointment because another group arrived 30 minutes too early. We weren't too upset though because we knew that we would not give this place our business after the experience and customer service we had. An hour later, I went to another bridal shop and found the dream dress that this place said I would never find. I had such a terrible experience, and I don't plan on shopping here for anything or recommending this place to anyone.

I had an overwhelmingly awesome experience here. I was nervous to come here when I first saw some of the reviews, and also heard of a bad experience that one of my friends had. Valerie was amazing. She is truly a sweetheart, and so helpful! The dress selection here is great as well! I am absolutely in love with mine, and cannot wait to wear it on my big day. All thanks to That's my dress in Fredericksburg VA, and Valerie!!

That's my Dress did NOT provide the experience I wanted. As a bride I really expected to be listened too by the bridal shop. Yes, they have a gorgeous assortment of dresses but that's about it. I fell in love with a dress and when I was measured, to keep this short, they didn't  listen to me. I know my body. They ordered a size I was adamantly against and yet they said "you can always get it altered." You know what? Yes. But I'M paying for those alterations. So after unenthused phone calls, never returning my questions... my dress came in 9 months later. AND IT WAS HUGE! I'm talking... 4 inches too big. I was in TEARS! And yes one associate said "You did say you were going to loose the weight." So they send me off to get a dress sized for an elephant... because they don't do alterations in house. Thank GOD for FAB Alterations on Plank Road. THEY'RE they heroes. After months of crying and anxiety over my dress, Fab Alterations LISTENED and made it right and finally on my wedding day I fell in love with my dress. So here it is - Don't get your dress from That's My Dress unless you have a ton of time, are ok with what you're getting, and don't expect phone calls. But no matter where you DO get your dress from, got to Fab Alterations on Plank Road.

DO NOT listen to the consultants at this shop about alterations!! I had gone to several bridal shops looking for my dress before I go to this one. I tried on a dress and the consultant began to clip the dress all the way around to show me what it would look like when it was altered. Seeing my figure this way, I bought the dress. It was over two thousand dollars. It took A FULL YEAR to come in, and the shop didn't even call me to let me know-- I called them. Then, I took the dress to the seamstress they recommended down the road and was promptly told that the alterations the consultant said could be done simply were not possible. So, I bought a dress for thousands of dollars, waited a full calendar year for it to come in, and then was told that I won't even get the dress that I was promised. My dress took so long to come in to begin with that now I don't even have time to get another dress. I have never been so upset before.

I came in with no appointment, was seen right away and even though my budget was much lower than most of the dresses in here the consultant was very nice and helped me find an amazing dress at a great deal! Everyone was super nice andy experience was great!
