Soaring 180 feet above the Potomac River waterfront at National Harbor, The Capital Wheel is a world-class destination and iconic addition to the skyline of the nation’s capital. Significantly, this sophisticated yet family-friendly adventure for visitors of all ages and interests is the first attraction of its kind in the northeastern region of the United States.
The Capital Wheel’s 42 climate-controlled gondolas (including one luxuriously-appointed VIP gondola), each accommodating eight passengers, feature glass exteriors to maximize the panoramic views of the Washington Monument, National Cathedral, Alexandria Masonic Temple, and beyond. The Capital Wheel is one of a growing number of iconic observation wheels worldwide that draw tourists and local visitors alike for an exhilarating ride.
