I hate pools, simply because they are boring. But the Great Waves pool is the exception...lots of fun floating in the waves on an tube or simply treading water. A tip: while there are a lot of lounge chairs for sunbathing, get there before Noon on the weekends to secure one.

I haven't been to Cameron Run in about years and recently decided to take my 7 year old son. We had a really good time, especially in the wave pool. Nice place to take your family for a full day of fun! Beats spending the day at Six Flags in my opinion. A+

Good place to go for a run. I like to start here and head towards Holmes run. Not bad for a run even in the heat, because there is a good amount of shade.

Iam Very Very disappointed in the lack of Communication between the visitors and the lifeguards at the Great Waves pool. The lifeguards were asked multiple times about when the waves were going to get turned on and they couldn't tell us. Where as I asked I was told by one of the other ones who weren't guarding the pool and she answered they come on every ten mins. I'd appreciate it they were better staff to visitor communication. Signed a first time visitor on a somewhat unpleasant experience...
