If you haven’t had it, you are MISSING out! This has become a staple for us on the weekends after we wrap up shopping! Awesome service, good specials/drinks, and you won’t find a better chicken Sammie in the city! PS: all of their food is excellent and the roasted corn/grilled wings are literally to die for! Always appreciate the wait staff and their service! Every visit we are met with attentiveness, kindness, and cleanliness. There is nothing I’d change about this restaurant! Awesome menu and even better people! Highly recommend!
Pros: great food for a great price; it's hard to beat the quality for the price here and we enjoyed almost everything we had. The daily deals are great. The wood grill adds a great flavor that not a lot of places do or if they do, it's expensive. The amount of light in the place is also great, huge windows on all sides just makes for a nice atmosphere -- if you can't sit outside on the patio, you can still at least feel like you're outside. It's also nice to see the wood grill in operation -- just adds to the experience. We also had a great server. Cons: I really love the decor/layout of the place see above but I gave it a 3/5 on atmosphere because of the loudness of the interior. I think it's the fans in the middle that add such a loud background noise... some sound absorbing would help. I would sit outside in nice weather for this reason alone. Additionally, the fries were a little inconsistent nothing crazy. My wife and I have been here several times and will go again -- just a solid, unique restaurant with lots to love at a reasonable price.
My friend and I went here a couple weeks ago for dinner. It was very cute. There was indoor and outdoor seating. Ample parking and fun neighborhood vibe. The pricing was reasonable, the portions are ample. They have themed nights like wing night and the atmosphere was pleasant and laid back. Our waiter Glenn was very nice and attentive without being overbearing. Nice spot for after work, family dinners or friendly get togethers.
We ordered buffalo chicken and southern chicken. I am not sure if they added buffalo sauce. It was very subtle to a point you wouldn’t have guessed it was a buffalo chicken sandwich. Both sandwiches almost looked the same and tasted the same. The menu is very limited. I wish they would add more options.Food: 3/5
Fireside is the most underrated restaurant in the east end! The food is amazing and their beverage selection is solid. Their burgers are amazing especially on $10 burger night, the wood fired wings are fantastic, and don’t even get me started on the Hush Puppies! Don’t forget to look ant their daily specials too. Inside the restaurant can get a little tight when it’s busy but when the outside is open it isn’t as bad inside. The entire kitchen is open to the restaurant and watching them use the open fire pit grill is free entertainment for the kids. The staff has always been extremely polite and even when it gets busy they are apologetic and do their best to keep glasses full, which I very much appreciate.
The food is amazing, and the street corn is to die for! They can get pretty busy in the evening, so I would recommend going early if you are in a rush! The service is really good, it can just take sometime because they usually have a full house!Food: 5/5
Some of the best food I think I've had in Pittsburgh! Everything was so flavorful and the wings were cooked perfectly with a lot of delicious sauces to choose from, fries were the best! Our server was also great and very kind and all around this was definitely just a 5 star experience, both inside and outside seatings are very nice and cozy as well. Can't recommend enough
Service was quick and we sat right down, having an Open Table reservation. The food was pretty good. We had the nachos with shredded chicken but the cheese was cold. The goat cheese and spinach salad I subbed mixed greens was delicious. I also got the shrimp on top with balsamic dressing. My fiancé got the Philly cheese steak and he thought it was pretty good. Service was phenomenal. I would recommend.
Very welcoming environment. Glen was a very nice waiter. The food was amazing! Highly recommend the grilled wings over the fried. The honey mustard sauce for the wings was perfect. I had the Fire Side burger, and it was all I could ask for and more. It's what a burger should be. Overall, YES, I would come back, and I strongly recommend this spot to anyone and everyone!
The food and the service was excellent. They serve very generous portions and they have a very unique mix of favors in their dishes. The crab hushpuppies are delicious and topped wonderfully with a sweet and savory finish. The Nachos can easily serve a party of 5 and the burgers are perfectly cooked. If you want to have a hometown favorite, their cheesecake is huge and it is satisfying. They also specialize in drinks and a variety of beers. I highly recommend this restaurant. I can appreciate their efforts during this pandemic by ensuring that all tables are distanced apart and their patrons are safe.
