Stopped here on a work trip. Ate alone at the bar and the service was good, especially for a Sunday night. The beet salad was delicious. Ordered the buckwheat gnocchi to go and unfortunately I didn't check the box until a few hours later - total rip off for $16. There were about 5 bites of food and it looked like vomit. No gnocchi in site, just brussel sprouts and sweet potato in tomato sauce. Totally gross and disappointing.

Pricy but very good. We have been 3 times and the food is always good. The prices run mostly 17 to 25 for entree's. Cocktails are very good as well, run about 10. Prices seem high for a rural area. Who knows, maybe this standard in Chester VT. Overall like this place and will be back.

Awesome Vermont restaurant, with family and friends always welcome. Rick and Ann are the Hosts bringing warmth and charm to their Victorian home...all wines are hand chosen by Rick. Eat once you'll go back again, I am sure!

Always a local favorite for Sunday brunch. Rick & Ann host with a personal touch and the specials from French toast to the awesome "Skillets". Coffee is good, too.
