I was pretty happy with my stay. The room was large, nice and clean with all amenities I needed for my biz trip. I mostly appreciate the effort to go green by providing glass-bottle water, grounded coffee in a tin can for french press and the little instruction card telling you to help conserve the water. The little annoyance though, is that if you stay relatively low floor and facing the bus stop, you might have trouble sleeping due to the noise. Double whammy if garbage truck comes along in the morning the night you stay as well.

Hotel is right in downtown Kirkland, walking distance to lots of restaurants, shops, and parks. Staff is friendly and eager to be helpful. Rooms are very comfortable. In-room refrigerator has plenty of room for your own stuff (not crammed full of "mini-bar" items).

Great happy hour menu in Trellis, from 2 - Close every day (I think). Definitely M-F. Cheese curds are ridiculous. Large hamburger for $5. $2 drafts. By far the best happy hour around.

Brunch menu is limited, but everything is good. Service is almost always great.

We live a quarter mile away, but still like to stay here some weekend nights, just for the new decor and great service from the hotel staff.

I came here for afternoon tea with my friends on a whim, but was told that I needed to make a reservation for it at least 24 hours in advance. Their website didn't mention this, so I was disheartened... but then I tried their smoked salmon eggs benedict and everything was forgiven!! The eggs benedict had salmon roe on top, an absolutely lovely touch. My friend had the french toast and it was marvelously fluffy! I ended up coming back here with my boyfriend recently to actually get afternoon tea and it was also wonderful! One of my favorite places now!

Great place to stay! I'm a local, and we love to do overnight staycations here. Definitely worth splurging for a suite. The rooms are beautiful, the staff is friendly, the location is excellent, and the food in the restaurant is outstanding. 5/5 stars from me!
